NFMFT National Meat Products Competition 2017

   

 

MALONEYS SCOOP SUPREME AWARD!

 Alison Mellors of Maloney’s was crowned NATIONAL MEAT PRODUCTS CHAMPION 2017 with her outstanding pork pie at the National Meat Products Competition (NMPC) on 24th May. She also took home a total of 3 Category awards, 6 Gold and 3 Silver awards for a variety of pastry and bacon products. 

The competition, organised by The National Federation of Meat & Food Traders (NFMFT) and held at The MEATUP exhibition within the MK Arena, Milton Keynes attracted 48 entrants and a total of nearly 300 products.

Overall, two trophies, twenty one salvers and 136 Gold, 72 Silver and 25 Bronze certificates were awarded on the day.

Also victorious was David Purser who took the trophy for SUPREME SAUSAGE CHAMPION with his Traditional Pork Sausage entitling him to go on to enter this year's Champion of Champion's events.
